Remote Guard Deters Mailbox Thief

Unfortunately, for some apartment complexes, the mailbox area experiences a high volume of suspicious activity. The Mailbox enclosure acts as a barrier as it houses the mailboxes and can often allow people to go noticed or unseen at night. We often get requests for our remote guard to monitor these areas as some complexes deal with a high volume of mailbox break-ins leading to unhappy tenants and costly repairs for property owners.

Remote Guard Hops Into Action

In the video above, a person comes into our camera’s view and begins to mess with a mailbox. An Alert is sent to Alpha’s command center, where one of our remote guard’s remotes into the security system to see the man breaking into the mailbox enclosure. Our remote guard initiates a warning using the two-way talk-down audio included with our Remote Guard System and lets the person know the property is restricted and he needs to leave immediately.

The person is seen hesitating for a minute but is quick to leave after our guard initiates a second warning. The area is cleared and will continue to be monitored by Alpha’s Remote Guard Service for the rest of the day.
