Remote Guard Deters Dumpster Diver

Dumpster diving and illegal dumping are the most deterred occurrences on properties we protect. In most cases, dumpster diving is done without malicious intent, but the liability and the possibility of people making a complete mess while dumpster diving is enough to cause concern to property owners and managers alike.

In the video above, we see a person come into our camera’s view. Once he sees the person on camera looking in the dumpster, he immediately jumps into action. He initiates a warning using the two-way talk-down audio included with the system. Once the person is caught, an alert is sent to our command center, where a live guard remotely assesses the situation.

The person takes instant notice of the warning and makes his way off the property in the same direction he entered. The property is secured and will continue to be live monitored by Alpha’s remote guards for the rest of the night.
