Alpha Video Surveillance Teams up with Miracle Flights

Miracle Flights, the nation’s leading nonprofit health and welfare Flights organization, was in need of an upgraded surveillance system for their Las Vegas office building. The system they had was outdated and unreliable so Nicholas Lamborghini, sales representative for Alpha Video Surveillance Systems reached out to the MDL Group property management team to see if they could help.

One of the problems the property faced was the obstruction of trucks, staging, and parking in unauthorized spaces of their parking lot during business hours. Their outdated analog cameras could not produce clear, quality video to effectively document and report the incidences. They needed a solution that could produce a reliable recording with a user-friendly dashboard for the property manager to manually review and extract footage. After learning more about Miracle Flights, Alpha Video Surveillance decided to donate $14,500 worth of surveillance equipment. The savings received from Alpha allowed the organization to allocate additional funds to their cause.  The installation was completed on September 7th, 2017.

Mark Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Miracle Flights said “from the first meeting we had (with Alpha Video Surveillance), the team was extremely professional. They came to us with a proposal and we expanded upon it. As a charity, you guys were willing to give us a break on the price which was really important for us.”

Brown added “the system is very user friendly from the back end. It also allows us to have remote access so we do not need to be on property which is great.”

Alpha also recently took part in a Miracle Flights’ fundraiser, Terrain Racing 2017, in Boulder City, Nevada on October 7, 2017.  Sales team members Bianca Dardon, Mike Loumos, Nicholas Lamborghini volunteered to assist with such duties as managing obstacle courses, passing out water and medals to contestants, and tear down of the courses at the end of the race. The help from volunteers allowed proceeds from the event support several registered charities, like Miracle Flights.

“We will continue to work with Miracle Flights,” said Bianca Dardon, Marketing Specialist for Alpha Video Surveillance Systems. “We are working towards building a steady relationship with Miracle Flights and hope they call on us to help sponsor future events.”
